Making an Appointment at the Ministry of Immigration and Absorption

What is Misrad Haklita?
Misrad Haklita, officially known as the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration (משרד העלייה והקליטה), is the Israeli government ministry responsible for assisting new immigrants in their integration into Israeli society. The ministry provides crucial support including financial assistance (Sal Klita payments), Ulpan vouchers for Hebrew study, employment guidance, housing assistance, and educational services.

Making Your First Appointment
The first appointment with Misrad Haklita is a critical step in your absorption process. After this meeting, you will begin receiving your Sal Klita payments, and create a personalized absorption plan with your counselor.

For Those Who Made Aliyah from Abroad
If you received your Teudat Oleh or Teudat Zakaut at the airport upon arrival, you can schedule your first appointment by:

For Those Who Made Aliyah from Within Israel (Shinui Status)
If you are changing your status to immigrant from within Israel, you must first complete an online eligibility form. After submission, Misrad Haklita should contact you within 14 business days to schedule your appointment.

Important: The form must be filled out using incognito mode in Google Chrome for technical reasons.

Health Insurance Finalization: You'll receive forms needed to complete your health insurance registration with your chosen Kupat Cholim (health fund).
